Aurora - Plate

Finished in the Aurora glaze with a touch of 22 karat white gold luster, it was created to move fluidly between ritual and everyday use. It can bring lively, intentional energy to an altar as a surface for burning incense or resting sacred offerings, or hold your favorite objects.

This plate was wheel thrown and trimmed. It was then bisque fired, glaze was applied, and then it was fired once more. It was wet sanded before luster was applied and then underwent a final third firing. 

** You can use this for food, however note that the luster needs to be taken care of. Hand wash only. Avoid dishwashers, scrub pads, and harsh abrasives to prevent scratching or wearing away the thin metallic layer. With proper care, it will last forever!
