Drawn from the depths, the octopus carries a fearless kind of awareness... one that welcomes complexity and resists the shallow. A reminder to live fully, feel deeply, and expand beyond what is easily seen.
This vessel was wheel thrown and under-glazed by hand. It was fired, then glazed with a zinc-free clear on the exterior, as well as a green celadon glaze on the interior. It was then fired for a second and final time.
