Reclamation of Self Mask

This mask evokes quiet transformation, as if reclaimed by the earth over time. Moss grows across its surface in soft layers, while small mushrooms emerge... symbolizing decay, renewal, and the steady cycle of life returning to itself.

This decorative mask was created through a slow, intentional process. Each piece is hand-sculpted with deep thought and care, then bisque fired before an underglaze wash and zinc-free clear glaze are applied. It is then finished with a final glaze firing.
