This vessel was wheel thrown and under-glazed by hand. It was fired, then glazed with a zinc-free clear as well as a cosmic-channeling sparkly black on the inside and then fired for a second time. It was wet sanded and then 22k white gold luster was applied to the rim. It then went through its third and final firing.

** You can use this for food, however note that the luster needs to be taken care of. Hand wash only. Avoid dishwashers, scrub pads, and harsh abrasives to prevent scratching or wearing away the thin metallic layer. With proper care, it will last forever!
