This piece was wheel-thrown. The eyes were sculpted just before leather-hard phase, then it was bisqued. After it was fired- a deep, cosmic-sparkle glaze was applied on the interior and a black underglaze wash/ zinc-free clear glaze were applied on the exterior. It was then glaze fired in the kiln.
